I was surfing around Amazon last night for a couple Pi-related items and came across this by happenstance:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004OB0EBQ/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00
It's a small USB keyboard designed to work with a tablet or smartphone that allows for peripherals, as apparently many Android-based phones do. It was only $3.97 last night, so I bought one, on the off-chance that it might be made to work with my Pi. What do you think? Maybe other people might be interested in trying it, too, so I thought I'd share.
Tiny USB Keyboard - what do you think?

I actually have the 10 inch version of this for my 10 inch tablet. It's touch to type on with my hands, but I have rather large hands (my wedding ring is a US size 15 1/2). I can't imagine trying to type on one for a 7 inch tablet.

For $4, you can always keep it around as a spare if you do not like typing on it because of the size. It is certainly bigger than the one I got from Brando to use with my PDA. You learn to type with fewer fingers if necessary.

I'll let folks know how it does with the rPi as soon as it gets here. It's going to take 17-28 days coming from Hong Kong.
