Logilink 10 port USB hub

What do you think about this USB hub maybe someone try it with RPi, I think to buy one and use it for powering RPi or as regular hub to connect external HDD on RPi. Anyway what do you suggest which one should I buy for my RPi?

I have one of those working with the Pi. It shows up as 2 separate 7 port and a 4 port devices when doing an lsusb:

Bus 001 Device 005: ID 1a40:0101 Terminus Technology Inc. 4-Port HUB

I haven't tried using it to power the Pi though.

I bought adapter from RS and it says 1.2A but when I plug my ADATA external HDD RPi restarts and never recognize it, but with USB flash everything works fine. I think of using this one for HDD and wifi dongle because it has 3.5A power adapter. Thanks for info.
