Anyone got a PiFace?
I bought one at the Cambridge Raspberry Jam thing recently - only just gotten round to using it, so I extended wiringPi for it and put a few words together here:

Link to wiringPiFace here:

would be interested to know what others are up to with it!

Hi Gordon,
I too have a PiFace, and haven't had a chance to play around with it much yet.
This code looks like a good starting point. What kernel/distro are you using?
Thanks,
Felix

I think you're going from posting on my blogsite for for anyone else, I'm using Debian - the Raspbian variant, and although I've compiled my own kernel, I understand the latest kernel avalable via the usual upgrade mechanisms has the SPI drivers built in - you just need to modprobe them at boot time as they're blacklisted by default.

Received my Pi_Face in the post this morning. Fortunately I was at home since it arrived without any prior warning and by recorded delivery so had to be signed for.
The package contains the assembled circuit-board and a stick-on rubber pad (which is easily overlooked in the bubble wrap bag - and easily lost
). There is no documentation or invoice of any kind - not even a link to the project's home page. Since it's a developer's release just now this lack of any form of introduction is not a big deal but since I ordered it some time ago it didn't click what it really was for a minute or two - I've ordered quite a few bits and bobs in the past few weeks. Here are some links to prod my memory when I get some time to play around with the board:
