Gertboard Jumper leads

Hey all

Does anyone know what plugs are used for the jumper leads?
I'm wanting to make up some more/longer ones and a few multipole ones for the programming interface for the ATmega but I can't figure out the Farnell website to find which ones I need.

Found the header strip but not the single pole connectors.
Also can't figure out if they come with the crimp connectors or if they are bare housings.

Am I just being dense or is the Farnell website /THAT/ hard to search? o.O

Farnell is only easy to search if you know what you are looking for.

However that does not include the crimping tool. The one they have is very expensive you should be able to get a simple one for £15 or so.

I bought some f-f jumpers from proto-pic in the UK

Part No. PPPRT-08430 these are 6 inch
Part No. PPPRT-09389 these are 12 inch

Look very similar quality to the ones supplied by farnell with the kit.

Think they are from Sparkfun in the States

These look just right. Looks a great site with loads of interesting goodies and MUCH easier to navigate the RS or Element 14. Thanks for the link. There is no minimum order amount - great.

I use them quite regularly.
They have some stock I've not found anywhere else apart from on US websites.

Also one thing I really like, they use small plastic boxes for shipping. They are great for component storage. (Well if you order something large you get a larger plasic box )
Shipping is normally next day (I usually order in the evening and get a conformation my order has shipped the following afternoon)
