There's now a basic Android app that controls the mouse pointer over WLAN.

Personally i use MochaVNC (free iphone/ipad app) to control my linux box witch runs x11vnc server, which was soooooooooooooo easy to install and setup. And if i want to SSH i use the iPhone terminal app (jailbreak and download through cydia), of course you could pay th $10 to get iSSH which is pretty good, but you have to pay.
P.M me if you want more details on how to do this

Thanks, setting up VNC isn't really a problem. It's a very heavyweight solution for this application. What I'm doing is very lightweight.

Hi! I created an App which is totally customizable and sends strings over a network, so if you write a simple socket server for the raspberry to which the app can connect to, you can create your own remote control easily.. for iPhone and iPad. If anyone wants to try it out I can provide you with promotion codes so you get the app for free.
Hope this helps!
