It's wood layed into acrylic, and I was really happy with the result :)

Looks really nice however from your blog it looks way too big, don't see how the ports are accessed.

All of the cables go inside of the box and come out of that small hole at the bottom.

i loved the attention to detail shown in your build, you need to get an email address shown and cost for your work, i would love you to make me some red acrylic parts and alike for all things Pi thanks for sharing your build it looks very nice indeed.
one armed controls engineer, my grammar is bad but lets face it most keyboards don't suit a one armed man

First of all, thank you very much :) -- It make me happy seeing people like my work, or at least it's affirming to hear that people think it's cool :).

As far as commissions, I've never done anything like that before, but if you'd like to work together building something, my email address is my username google's email service.

Looks lovely mate.

The corners look interesting, can you explain those or give me a link. Did you laser etch them then bend them?
