Hi,
So I've never made a case for anything, but I've found a very nice metal box that I want to use.
Thing is, the box is slightly too large, so besides cutting holes in the sides for cables, I'll want to have stands of some kind to keep it in place. So, does anyone have recommendations for what to use? it would be best if I could somehow clamp the board into place.
thanks
Board stands?

Depending on how much room there is, some vertical pieces of plastic tubing with 1mm slots cut into it at the right height? You'll also want something to keep the rpi from shorting out on the metal of the case.

You could use a raspberry sandwich:

with either mounting posts, or just stick the sandwich bottom down!
