Cardboard Case

I was planning on making a quick cardboard case for before I work on my steel case. After I saw Punnet I decided to make one, and use a similar design using a cereal box.

Planned it out on thin paper, then traced the design on cardboard.

It was a bit flimsy, so I glued on extra layers. The case feels very good for cardboard.

Final product. I'm thinking of spray painting it, though I'm not sure it's worth it.

In all seriousness though, they've made some legendary peripherals in the past. We all know about the gaming mice fad, but some of the best players known (with tournament winnings to back it up) simply used a $5 Microsoft mouse. You can't hate on a good product.

One thing Microsoft have always done well is buy companies that make good hardware. The Sidewinder Joystick was a case in point. One thing they fail at, is keeping those companies and product lines going

I am all for cardboard. I say stick with that. Your design looks awesome. You should make us all a pattern if you get time!

I was not as ambitious. I just went with the "case" in which I received my Raspberry Pi.
