Love the punnet, it inspired me to create a BBC Model B themed case...

Ok people, here is what I'm feeling confident enough to call Punnet Mk1 (now I have a Pi for testing it with).

There are 2 downloads:

Standard PDF
SVG editable version for modding.

Short list of changes:
>Slightly narrower.
>USB hole is a tighter fit.
>RCA video hole is larger, as I noticed the connector on my Pi was at a bit of an angle, and I guess other boards may have the slight irregularity, so this is to take it into account.
>Everything lines up! (at least it does for me!)

Thanks for all the feedback and comments all. I've got a real kick out of seeing the variations and mods that have been done I'm considering Punnet pretty much done now, as there is the .SVG if you want to mod or tweak it, but I might come back to it some time, I just I won't be doing regular updates as I have been doing. Please do still keep posting ideas/feedback/photos/mods etc though!

Just wanted to say thanks for this - just built one. Was a little difficult seeing laser printing on black card (duh!!) but we got there in the end.

I like the idea of this case, it suits the Pi very well being a cheap computer and all.

I've completed 2 designs with a window but also adjusted the base to allow for box cardboard to be inserted under the RPi, this makes the box a lot more sturdy to work with.

Great adjustments to the case, E! It fits now perfectly. I have printed it on paper, cardboard and latest on a transparent sheet ... looks marvelous!

Just my contribution - here is the Punnet design as a Sketchup file - I am working to make it an SVG to feed to common paper cutters - so you can print out the case on paper with the design of your choice, then cut and fold

Here is another design for a cardboard case.

Should call it the Pi-rigami case. Mucho accurate cutting and folding involved in making it but it's hard to be sure how good it is since it doesn't sit still in the video.

E you're not missing much, the video is not really about the case, it's an exercise in stop motion to bad music (imo of course )

Excellent case idea, I had a couple of problems making mine though:

I suck at cutting out circles.

Superglue doesn't work on paper/cardboard.

Attached is a clearer view of the no glue card design.
Best to use a cutting machine to get the accuracy.

This case is excellent. I printed it out and laminated it before building. It easily held together even though it was cut out, is nice and sturdy and glued together with superglue easily. Took about 45 mins from print to finish.

Here are the PDF and SVG. I didn't change many things :
- I replaced the hole on the top by a RPi logo (my first idea was to cut the white ellipses of the logo to keep the original hole purpose, but it was a bit hard to cut by hand. However, if someone has a computer-controlled paper cutter, I'd be curious to see the result )
- I removed the text on the back
- I changed the network led label to 100M, according to this page : http://elinux.org/R-Pi_Troubleshooting# ... ad_of_100M
Be careful, I got problems with the svg size (it was far to small after printing), so I had to resize it, and it seams to be about 1mm too large. But it works anyway.

It was clipped by a laser cutter.
This is a bungle, but the part of a logo is good, isn't it?

I have not got, but a raspberry pie reaches soon.

Is there any advice regarding protection from ESD? Would this be taken care of by lining the inside of the transparent case with the anti-static bag? Kindly advise, if possible, please. Thanks

I'm getting that now too. Must be an intermittent failure.
