I have spare apple remote control, I was wondering, would there be a way to get it working with raspberry pi?

do you have an IR receiver that works with Linux?
It wouldn't be raspberry pi specific, find an IR sensor that works with linux and then use the apple remote with it.

I'm really interested in this if anyone got it working.....you can buy old apple IR receivers on ebay but how do you know if there compatible with linux???
