[Solved] Failed to execute child process "eject"

I am using the image 2012-09-18-wheezy-raspbian.
When I try to eject a pendrive connected direct to one of the USB ports I receive this message:

"Error starting job: Failed to execute child process "eject"

Any idea how can I solve this?

I too suffered from this annoyance for quite a while until I discovered the fix.

If you do :-

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install eject

Et voilá, the problem goes away.
