Is there a way to make the shell font bigger without changing the resolution setting during boot? I have my Pi hooked up to a 720p TV (that for some reason is showing a native resolution at 1080i) and the text is awfully small. I can adjust the resolution in the config.txt file to make text appear larger but I would like to run it at the native resolution but just have a bigger font so I don't have to be right in front on the TV (and can instead lounge in the bed =p)
Is there any command like setting/command that will increase/decrease font sizes so I can say swap back and forth without reboots?
Can you change shell font size?

Assuming you mean the system console font (not in X):zedin wrote:Is there any command like setting/command that will increase/decrease font sizes so I can say swap back and forth without reboots?
- Code: Select all
setfont /usr/share/consolefonts/Lat15-Terminus24x12.psf.gz
