Hi, which SD cards are compatible with the raspberry pi model B 512MB?
I can get a normal 4gb SD cardi model b
I could also get a Micro SD card (with an adapter to make it normal sized) up to 32GB
or a SDHD card up to 32GB
which ones are compatible with the Raspberry pi model b 512mb?

In theory any card of up to 32GB if as it is a SDHC card of class 10 or less should be compatible.
However the Pi can sometimes be picky in no obvious pattern so it can be a case of try the card. Having said that I have about 20+ SD cards in a variety of sizes, class and manufacturer and they all work fine for me.

Have a look.
SDHC is fine i use 3 cards 4GB Sandisk Class4,8Gb Sandisk Class 4 this one micro sdhc with adapter and my last is a Sandisk 32Gb Class 10 45mb/s model.
All working fine with Raspbian,Raspbmc and Openelec.

It isn't as picky with an up to date image as it once was. Sandisk Class 4 and Samsung Class 6 all work for me. High speed ones (class 10) probably won't make much difference with what the Pi does.
Don't judge Linux by the Pi.......
