Power supply, is this one alright?

Hi everyone :)

Just got my pi thursday :D And so I had my parents go to the store to get the power plugin and everything. They came back with a:
enercell 5VDC 1000mA AC to USB power adapter. It says on the back "...make sure it requires 5VDC and no more than 1000mA"
I just need a USB to micro USB cord
Would that one be alright? I just want to make sure, I don't want a burnt raspberry pi :roll: :lol: :mrgreen:

That one sounds ok but it depends if it delivers what it says. But either way, it won't burn out your pi unless the voltage is significantly above spec.

I couldn't find any reviews of it online. It was $20 though so it better be a good charger ;)
