With today's exciting announcement about TinyBasic for the PI, we finally have a nice little version of BASIC for the Pi.
... but we don't have anywhere to discuss BASIC programming at the moment?
(And by the way, I haven't forgotten that long-ago promise to bring BBC BASIC to the Pi as well...)
Add a BASIC subtopic to 'Programming'.

...And as if by magic, it appears that the recently released RiscOS for the Pi may have BBC basic (V5) built in.

In fact, both V & VI.
As far as I can tell, BASIC64 is BBC VI.

Thanks for that - was there ever a 'to-executable' compiler for any of the BBC Basic versions, or did they remain resolutely interpreted-only?
