CPC orderers - despatching today..! 8-)

Some of those of us who have ordered via CPC may want to make sure they are contactable via their contact info [phone] - if they, like me, needed to supply updated Card details (my old card having expired in April). Mine is now being despatched today

I haven't heard from cpc at all.
Looks like I won't be getting my raspberry pi from them.
It's normal for them to advertise products, that never come into stock.

I have contacted them and given my updated card details.
I'm not confident that I will get my order, having plenty of experience of cpc and the stock that never arrives, but they keep showing it in their special offers.
Cpc wasn't as bad until Farnell bought the company.

Mine finally turned up from CPC today.
I was a bit suprised they didn't contact me to get payment details; usually they do for back orders where stuff was out of stock (as opposed to despatch screw ups). I pretty sure in the past they told me they don't store CC details.

My CPC Pi arrived in the post yesterday morning; next day delivery without problem, but I had no time to do other than transfer it to its protective case, as I was heading to my schools' 75th reunion. Just tried it on RISCOS this morning, and its working okay. WIll have time to sort out a Linux image tonight, and perhaps a later RICOS image (mine is 2 weeks old).
(I've amended the topic title to reflect the passing of time - they are now despatched/despatching/arrived/arriving...)

I'm glad to hear yours have arrived. Mine was supposed to be dispatching yesterday, I'll believe it when it arrives.
On Tuesday I'll see if I have payment has been taken.

Today my Raspberry pi has arrived.
To add insult to injury, my invoice is for £33 instead of the £27 i was told over the phone.
Better late than never.

Phil: I was only ever told the 33(.06) over the phone. CPC sent it 1st class, unlike ELement14 who send them 2nd class
