pi shipping from RS

Hi all,

Just got my pi from Rs today.

I registered my interest at 6:30am, that fateful morning.

Got my invite to order about 2 weeks ago, were it gave a 3 week delivery estimation.

So far so good.

Built me sd card, going to give it ago tomorrow.

Congratulations! I got my invite from RS on May 24th, and they said despatch expected within 5 weeks.

Wow! having Pi tonight!

Got the you can order email on about the 15 with the 3 weeks message. Came home and there it sits!!! ^_^

Just heard that I am going to have to wait 8 weeks for mine to be delivered... not happy! :evil:

Let's hope that, like some of you have found, I won't have to wait quite as long as that before it arrives!

To followup: I received my Pi yesterday, June 27, so RS did meet their timetable. I didn't get any email saying that it shipped, but I expected that based on what others posted. The Pi works fine, by the way.

It shipped to California from the UK via DHL and I have to give the local DHL guy high marks. Not only did he deliver it correctly, but in looking for my apartment he found a FedEx package for me that had been sitting outside another apartment for several days!
