Got mine yesterday and ordered 55xxx

This is for India bound delivery and dispatch is expected within 6 weeks, add to that shipping time of 4-5 weeks, so two months to go almost !

I've placed my order at RS 20 days ago (order number x415), in confirmation they stated "Despatch expected within 7 working days", but since 11 may I have not received any mail from RS. I have written them email several days ago, but still no answer

. What can I do in this situation?

Delivered yesterday - by DHL Express. Without any dispath confirmation e-mail.
Order number 71XX, placed on 16th May.

UPDATE: This is a know issue that their IT are looking into as of yesterday. Seems bits of other peoples order information (name and phone number I assume) are being populated from somewhere as Equador was mentioned in conversation. Gotta love testing! Further update, just logged on again and the name/number boxes are empty. Fingers crossed they fixed it...... I've just ordered. If the order number is indicative of the number of Pis they have we're up into the 61,000s! Roll on mid July

Personally, I registered my interest with RS on 1st March (once all the initial hubbub had passed). Received an invite on 28th May (3 months after give or take). Still have a 6 week wait for the "expected" delivery date.

Looking at some of the order numbers bouncing around on this thread it would appear RS have a large (tens of thousands) order inbound over the next month or so. The production process certainly seems to have gone up a gear or two if that is to be believed.

It all depends when you first 'expressed your interest' with RS in purchasing a Raspberry Pi.
If it was on release day (29th February 2012) you should have received one by now.
If it was more than a few days later than that, then you will have to be patient and wait a bit longer, I'm afraid.
Hopefully you are receiving regular 'update' emails from RS Online, and the next one should provide a bit more information!
There are many thousand of us in a similar position, all asking the same questions, but no one can give you a definitive answer to them, just at the moment.
Edit: To add a bit more to the previous reply, I 'expressed an interest' (in the U.K.) on 6th March and I haven't received an invitation yet!

Hi,

I don't want to make a big thing of this, but I feel that it is something which does need clarifying.

Some folk who who previously expressed an interest in ordering a Raspberry Pi from RS, and who are now receiving an actual invitation to order, have obviously decided, for whatever reson, that they do not wish to proceed with the purchase, and (as has just happened to me!), kindly offer their order code to someone else.

This I assume is fine although I would have thought they both parties have to reside in the same country?

In my case, I was offered a code yesterday from 'jengla', who replied to one of my posts, but before I could get back to him another member 'hackery21' jumped in, to say that he would like it, and was asked to send his email address, although unfortunately 'jengla' then came back to say that as a 'new user' he was unable to use the PM function anyway!

Although I had tried to send him send a PM yesterday, in view of this, it is perhaps hardly surprising that I have not yet received a reply!

If you are still reading this 'jengla' (and do in fact live in the UK) I am still interested in your kind offer, and I am sure I could find a way to advise you of my email address... otherwise I suppose that (like many others in the same position), I will just have to wait my turn in the queue!

I ordered on 17th May, with order no 10xxx. to be delivered in India

But you are in UK right? Did you get any mail from RS directly about the shipment or only from ParcelForce?

I wanted to know whether they use Royal Mail to ship it outside UK and EU. You can't even track it. Anyway there is nothing to do other than wait!

I left my apartment and got on the bus, a few minutes later i get a call from DHL telling i have a package from RS and asks me to come unlock the door.

"Uhmm,, I won't be home for a few days. Come back on monday"

Notification only from ParcelForce varkey and the tracking link they give is useless except that I got the actual parcel number from it, took it to the main PF site and tracked that to get the information that my Pi has been sitting in the local depot since 10 this morning.
