Anyone in the US get a ship date from Newark (Element/14)

My ship date went from the standard 16 August to 29 May yesterday. I was very happy. (Ordered 1st March, OCN of 171xxx)

I just got a shipping confirmation order with a tracking number from UPS with delivery set for 5/30! I ordered on 2/29 at 8:48am.

I received this e-mail last night from UPS...

Looks like I will be spending my holiday weekend huddled in a dark room with a monitor in front of me...

+1 for June 18. I ordered from Newark on March 3 and was invited to order from RS today. I'm in Florida, USA.

I'm not upset in the slightest, of course, and I'm still very excited to see what it can do. The nifty $15 AA (x4) battery pack I found at NewEgg should power it nicely so all I need now is a DC powered multi-touch screen.

I ordered mine on 3/1. Just looked at UPS tracking and my Raspberry should be delivered by 5/30!

Ordered mine March 1st and got a May 29th ship date, it jumped to June 18th and then Newark charged my bank account $50!

After a few days at June 9th, my ship date has changed to May 29th. It now matches the "week of May 29th" from the email.

It was shipped on May 23rd, it arrived Friday May 25th.

It boots! I haven't done anything cool with it yet.

i had 167XXX and i just received an email saying it'll ship today via UPS. a friend has 185XXX ordered on the 3rd of march and he has an est. shipping date of 12th June.

btw still no idea exactly what it'll cost as my invoice on newark says $35 excl. s&h + taxes and they charged $50.57 to my card with a comment in the info fields for the charge that it's pending and balance return so i might be getting a few pennies back

Got my shipping confirmation (with UPS tracking number) and invoice confirmation (??) this morning. Ordered 3/1 at 6:53am (#171085). My ship date had bounced around from today to the 12th to the 18th and back to the 12th (yesterday) before it moved to Completed today.

Still dismayed at the apparent lack of consistency. I ordered at 8:54am on 29 Feb and have no movement at all. My order was 162195 and this seems to be 8,000+ orders before yours. I only ordered the RPi so it's not like they are waiting for other pieces.
I've sent emails to Newark and Element14, I've tweeted them, and I called. These attempts have only been in the past few days, as I've waited patiently for the past three months.
Are you in the US or Canada?

@fossks: I'm in California, USA. Sorry to hear you're still waiting and frustrated... I would say by all rights you should have got yours before I did. Note: they did change my original spec of 2-day priority mail delivery to UPS ground (which is currently showing my Pi as having been picked up in Spartanburg, SC, and has a delivery estimate of June 4 (6 days.) I really did mean it when I specified 2-day delivery... and it can't be that different in cost. So don't be surprised if you have a similar experience once they get around to shipping your Pi. By the way, my ship date never returned to May 29th--it stayed at least 2 weeks out until it finally just changed to Completed. So you might suddenly see it ship. May 29th was the date they had emailed me in the "Your Pi is on its way" message back in April, after the certifications were completed, so they got that one right despite the website's dithering back and forth in estimates.

I got two emails from Newark yesterday. One was an invoice for the charge made to my credit card (RasPi $35, shipping $5, tax $2.28, total $42.28), and the other was a statement that my RasPi was shipped, along with UPS tracking number. Plugging that in on the UPS site, it does show my RasPi is on the road to Florida.

The previous email I had gotten was on May 1, saying that I would get my RasPi the week of June 18th. So the schedule seems to have gotten a bit better than was originally expected.

I ordered on March 1st, and they gave me a ship date of May 11th.

On May 29th I got a shipping notification, and a UPS tracking number, which has estimated delivery date of June 5th.

Also, the total charged was $43.07.

I ordered ~9am Central time on 2/29, my ship date was 5/29 last week, but has now changed to 6/12.

Order number 161196. I'm not sure what to believe any more, so I'm just going to be surprised whenever it actually shows up at my doorstep.

My Order Status has now changed to "Back Order".

OK, so I'm rejoining the group of you here whose status=Massively Frustrated.

My Pi was shipped on 5/29, everything looked great and on schedule to be delivered on June 4th, and then I looked at the UPS tracking today (5/30) and saw it had been delivered.

What?

Yes, it had been duly delivered... to the same town it was shipped from (Spartanburg, SC). It left on Monday, and returned Tuesday, apparently refreshed from a spa day in Columbia or something.

Note that I (the person that ordered it three months ago) am not in South Carolina, but in California.

Now I get to wander through the maze of customer service of two companies who have apparently completed orders, but of course everything's FUBAR as usual. Yay.

Correction: My Pi left Spartanburg on Tuesday and returned on Wednesday. Forgot about the Memorial Day holiday.

@fromagique same thing happened to me. I am in Ohio.

Figured I'd chip in and say I have received my Pi order from Newark. They sent me two emails while I was on vacation last week, one with an invoice of $43.33 ($5.00 S&H; $3.33 tax) and another with a UPS Tracking number that got delivered today (05/30).

I can't remember what time I placed my order, but it was on 02/29 (according to the email I found) and it was put on back order. I hope this helps those who are still waiting.

I ordered my Pis (no clue how to pluralise it) on 2/29 and placed an order for 2 and got them in the mail today. No clue were I was at in que. The status went from back ordered to shipped.

I ordered March 29, and still have the Aug 16 date. I emailed them a week ago and asked if there was an update (after that post on here saying everyone will have a firm ship date by mid May) and was told end of June. It'd be nice if the ship date on the site reflected that.

I am getting antsy in the pantsy for this order. I have much to do with it....
