Canada supply (512Mb)

Hi, anyone know where i can get one of these in Canada without waiting months?

Newark is probablly your best bet.

You can try Newark, or get one from us. Shipping is a little pricey - from what I've seen on Canadian orders, shipping would be about $15 for the board.

We're currently on backorder, but expect a decent sized shipment around the 11th of November.

Creatron in Toronto often has them. I got a 512MB one there last week.

I also live in Toronto, ordered from MCM and received my pi in ~1 week!

Also does the site allow for shipping to a different location form the Billing address?

We can't quote shipping for up North to a tee, but from what I've seen on board-only orders to Canada, shipping ends up being about $15. Yes, as of right now, yours will ship when stock arrives around the 11th.

Also does the site allow for shipping to a different location form the Billing address?

Sure does. When you check out, on the Shipping page, make sure to uncheck the box that says "Use this as my billing address" at the top.

Ive ordered 1, but OMG one of the worse check outs ive ever seen, had to enter my addresses over times, billing, then untick, then shipping, then typo, then shipping, now billing address is shipping address, then click all over screen, then change billing, now shipping is billing, change shipping, now shipping is also billing..... story goes on....

Holy smokes! Sorry about that.We'll have a play with it today to ensure everything is working correctly. On a side note, we leave the tick box checked to use the same billing and shipping, as 99% of our users use the same address for both. At any rate, we'll get your order out as soon as stock arrives!

I would think this "bug" might not have been seen as 99% are the same shipping / billing.

What i found was the moment i said "ship here" it changed my billing to the same address as well, so i had to go back and change the billing which meant entering my VIsa details again. Should you have any typos, your better doing the whole order again, otherwise you start getting locked in to payment loops
