Duplicate Deliveries (RS)

Just wondering how many other people have received duplicate deliveries of Pi from RS ?

I walked into work yesterday and found a second delivery on my desk. :o

I'm waiting to hear back from RS regarding the second delivery.

It seems a shame considering the supply and demand situation at the moment that deliveries are being duplicated. :(

I hope for anybody still waiting for their first that these errors are few and far between.

To do what Burngate suggests:

email: raspberrypi@rswww.com with subject: Mike@RS
Quote you Invoice Number, tell him what has happened and that
either
1) the extra Pi is available for RS to collect.
or
2) you wish to pay for it and keep it.
Mike will arrange for this to happen.

Thanks for the advice chrisw2

All I've done so far is leave some feedback via the RS website. When I phoned this morning I just joined the queue.

It happens to be my third slice, but I would like to pay for it rather than send it back, as a friend is waiting on one... and I really don't need three ;)

So now #3 has arrived. Anyone want it?
If you're anywhere near Ascot, you can have it for 30 quid. Further away, you'll have to pay postage.
- oh, and the fashionista in the house says I look stupid in the Farnell t-shirt, so if anyone wants that, it's their's to collect.

I know someone who received two from RS. Don't know what he did with it but if RS pay the postage I'm sure he'll send it back or pay for it. Given the shortages it is a shame that RS seem to be making a habit of randomly sending out duplicates.

I phoned RS to return my extra Pi, and was directed to email them. I haven't had a reply beyond 'read the FAQ' and reply with this number then we'll look at your email (which I did), but it's now awaiting collection should they come to get it.

On the phone they seemed keener to recover it than to accept payment, rather to the annoyance of two colleagues who wanted to buy it off me.
