Oh, the hubris.
Funny, really; I had a lot of complaints along the lines of "Why can't you run your launch like Apple run theirs?" I made the point that they have a market cap of $500bn, where we have my fridge magnet collection and what I've managed to rustle up from behind the sofa cushions.

And yet you guys still managed not to have the site completely crash during the peak period. Sure, you had to move to a static page for a couple of days, but it was available...

Hopefully the second batch will be around 300000 units, then, so all of us can actually get our hands on a Raspi sooner rather than later... hehehe
Cheers.

Not quite news or a blog, but probably the funniest bit of rpi press I've come across...
Scott Mills has a game he does on his show on Radio 1 in the evenings called innuendo bingo, the first clip they played this thurs was a Rpi related one, although unfortunately they didnt know enough about it to mention the project name...

A self-described "computer wizard with a strong sense of civil awareness," Kobeissi estimates he spends five times more time on his Cryptocat project than his political science and philosophy studies at Concordia University in Montreal.
