I've got this email but I've only ordered on Apr 6.. will I get the first batch or not?

The first batch from the initial 10k that the Foundation ordered was sent out a couple of weeks ago.

The 2nd batch will most likely be going out next week.

After that it's what RS and Farnell are ordering.

Not quite, the initial 2k (700 from RS, 700 from E14, 500 for ?? programers & 100 others) were sent out a couple of weeks ago. The balance of the initial 10K order (4K RS + 4K E14) are the units that are about to be sent out. E14/Farnell have said another 12K are due in the next couple of weeks with further supply coming in continuously.

I just received a similar post. Unfortunately, I'll be in Germany by then. I had hoped to take it with me to experiment with during the summer. Maybe I can purchase another while I'm over there. It looks like they should become readily available by July.

I'll probably have the first one sent to my EE daughter so she can experiment.
