This is a long shot, but I'm trying to unlock a Linksys SPA2102-R that I bought off ebay - not knowing it was locked :(

Has anyone ever played with these and successfully gotten them unlocked ?

That page would have been great about a week ago haha...
I think I've invalidated the methods that I could have done on that page already :(

If you'll be giving up on the Linksys and looking for another ATA, I suggest you look at the Obihai range. I have used a Linksys PAP2, a Linksys SPA3000 and an OBi110. The OBi's have much more functionality and are reportedly designed by ex-Sipura people. (Sipura was bought by Linksys which was then bought by Cisco.)

Although OBi's main market is the USA (all the factory default settings eg tones and dial plans are for the US) they do also supply units with the appropriate wall wart in UK, EU and Australia.

If i do buy another ATA, it'll likely be whatever I can find for cheap cheap, and not a new one.
Though I'll keep an eye out for those ones, thanks for the advice !
