Hi all,

I am working on a project which uses OpenCV to do motion detection. I would like to use the RPi camera module as input, but at this time I can only use an external Webcam. Do you have any development status and time scales on when a suitable V4L drive will be available for Pi? I understand that V4L driver is a requirement to be able to use OpenCV. I will soon be getting to point where I will not be able to progress the way I want to.

Don't know anything about this, its the the Foundation sponsored effort, but..

Unemployed software engineer currently specialising in camera drivers and frameworks, but can put mind to most embedded tasks. Got a job in N.Cambridge or surroundings? I'm interested!
