Will it damage Raspberry Pi If you put 12v on 5v pin?

Send Feedback. I don't want to brick or damage Raspberry Pi and waste money.

Yes it will damage/destroy your RPi.

I need schematic how to shrink 12v to 5v. Anyone know how?

I use a ubec to power the Pi from a 12V laptop supply.
