Why do you need a 2.6 kernel?

The official kernel is up here https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux

In our project, the whole code runs on 2.6.32 kernel. I don't have any other other option expect installing 2.6.32 kernel in raspberry pi. Any ideas?

What is in 3.6 or 3.10 that breaks your code?
Have you tried moving on the the new kernel, it may just work.
