Hello,

I used two hard disks with my Raspberry Pi through USB. After the boot I have my two HDD like this :
/dev/sda1
/dev/sdb1

But after few minutes I have :
/dev/sda1 (OK)
/dev/sdc1 (WTF ?)

Hi,

I try with just one disk and I have the same problem (sda1 changing to sdb1). It appears randomly when I try to create LVM logical volumes.

Code: Select all
$ dmesg | grep sda

I need to reboot to have /dev/sda1.

This is happening also to me.
I have an external hdd connected through autoalimented usb hub.
It is /dev/sda1, when i run transmission and start a torrent after few seconds hdd disappeares and with fdisk -l
i don't see anymore /dev/sda1 but /dev/sdb1.
It seems as the hdd disconnect and reconnect to new point.
Any idea on how to solve?
