I trying to hook up a TFT to my Rasberry Pi, and not with the RCA cable.
Im having trouble finding information.
(Im not interested in touch screen)

I have come across these two videos;

Anyone have any idea how these would have been wired?

Can't get to the vids right now (corporate firewall blocks YT).

However, if you are trying to not use the RCA or HDMI, then you are talking about using the DSI connector, or an outboard graphics device (through the USB, most likely).

I'm reading through the RPi User Guide right now. Let me see if they something on the DSI port.
I'm only wearing black until they find something darker.

Finished reading the book. It's really more of an introductory guide, rather than an in-depth "this is what it can do" type of book.

The most they say about the DSI port is that it exists, it is designed for flat panel displays (such as smartphones and tables) and that these types of displays are rarely available for end-user purchase. (a situation that is, thankfully, changing in our favor)

I don't know much about the DSI standard. I would assume the pinouts are consistent and that panel displays that say they are for DSI application would plug right in.

But they won't work , until you know how to write GPU code.
And compile it. Thats secret information for now.
