Any good game can play on Raspi?

Hi

I just bought the Raspi, i'm just wondering that are there any good game for it? :mrgreen:

Well there is Quake 3 if your into FPS! If you want to download it there are some good youtube tutorials on how to do so! I think in issue 3 or 2 of the MagPi there was a whole list of compatible games!

Here is a personal favourite:

sudo apt-get install xinv3d


Then to run... Open up the start menu and click 'run'

Then type in xinv3d!

It is a 3D space invaders! :) :) :)

Thanks for suggesting the xinv3D. Nice old rudimentary funny thing!
(but it certainly does not follow any of the different definitions of 3D current in computer technology)

Quake 3 on Raspberry Pi? Is it powerful enough for that?

It depends on the engine. A modded ioquake3 can use the powerful
GPU and gives 60 fps.
