Anyone interested in setting up a Pi group for the Chiltern area? I live in High Wycombe.

Have you looked on the Pi map? I know there are a few Pi's in Wycombe/Aylesbury and the surrounding areas, it may be worth contacting them.

I wasn't aware that there was a Pi map - I've been overseas for a couple of weeks and missed Liz's post about it. However, I've looked it up and see that you live less than a mile from me! I'll leave it for a few days and see if anyone else responds, and then maybe I'll follow your advice and try to contact them.

I live in Dunstable and there are a few others that live over this way according to the map, if nothing more local comes up for the Luton area I would like to come along if I am free ( I work shifts).

Or I could come to Dunstable... Let's see who else might be interested. I wasn't thinking of setting up a group myself (I'm 73, and I guess young blood is needed to run such a thing), but I was just testing the waters.

Just thought I would post and say I am interested in this -- I live close, and I would attend any local Pi events :-)

It looks like that so far there's 4 or 5 of us interested in meeting up. I'm completely tied up from the end of this week (end June) until almost the end of July, as my son and his family are flying in from Bangkok to stay with us for three weeks. How about meeting up end July, by which time a few more folks might have made contact?

Hi,

I was interested to see if there was a Linux User Group in High Wycombe and this topic came up. I recently got a Pi and live in High Wycombe (Downley). I'm a 27 year old Arch Linux user. Weekday evenings are best with me.
