Not strictly a Raspbetter Pi group, but the Devon (& Cornwall) Linux User Group will be able to give general Linux advice and at least 2 members have Raspberry Pi's.
Meetings in Paignton at the Shoreline Cafe on the afternoon of the 2nd Satuday in the month.
Details here:

The Exeter LUG is a separate LUG in Devon, but again lots of Linux advice - Evening of the 2nd Friday each month in the Exwick Community centre.
Details here:

There is also a meet Holsworthy too - check the DC LUG site for details.

I attend the Paignton & Exeter meets most months - can't make it in June due to another commitment though.

Hi there
I live near Crediton haven't done much programming since the ZX81 days consider myself an absolute beginner and tend to work on my own rather than with others.
But its good to know there's other Pi enthusiast near by. ;)
