Kernel Headers - where?

Hi All..

I would like to play with my own kernel modules on the Pi, but i need the kernel headers for compilation.

The kernel version i am using is: 3.1.9+

I have searched the forum a lot! And this question has come up a couple of times, but every topic seems not to find the answer - and the one asking the question ends up rebuilding the kernel instead.

I just want to compile my kernel modules and use insmod and rmmod to play with it :)

So can anyone tell me where to get the kernel headers for this, and how to install them?

Yes, that I have read too, but that's about rebuilding the whole kernel?.. I just want to compile my kernel module and then insert it with insmod.

If you can't find the kernel headers in your distro's package manager you could clone the kernel source and use the headers provided.
