I'm having major issues with those usb hubs though, if anyone has any suggestions before I buy some more hubs to try?

I used a simple 4 way one from tesco, the pi reads the extra ports on boot and I have had no problems, I think it set me back about £3.50

Hi!
I love your project!!
Are you powering the Rasp with the GPIO? What pin are you using? 2 (+) and 6 (gnd)?

Thanks!!
