Playing Audio Files

I've been trying to figure out how to get hello_audio to play audio files. Based on the source, it appears to be hard coded to play sinewave.c and not accept other audio files.

I'm aware of the various full featured audio players for debian but I would prefer a bare-bones and open source audio player to implement into a project.

Hi,
I've changed sound.c in such a way that i read a raw audio file from disk and save in the buffer. This plays very nice sound on the ear phones.

Trema,
Can you tell me more about how you did that?
