Hi guys!
Just wanted to find out if there is a Ustream plugin for OpenElec, Raspbmc or XBMC?
It would be really cool if we could watch the docking of the SpaceX rocket with the ISS on the Live ISS channel.

a little bit of googling suggests there isn't a dedicated Ustream addon for XBMC, but I couldn't say if any other addons have ustream listed.

Any addon for XBMC should work with the versions on the RPi, but that isn't a definite.

I've just found this, this looks like it supports ustream (see the hosters folder in Source > Browse > /trunk/plugins/video/plugin.video.xstream/hosters)
http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-xstream-p ... loads/list

I'll give it a try later, in the meantime - if anyone tries it and it works please let me know! =)

I have managed to get this xStream add on installed using Raspbmc, however it doesn't seem to work very well. When I run a search, for instance, 0 results are returned and it hangs at 88% until you click cancel.

The Youtube add on works fine though, so I presume the fault lies with the add on.

My goal is to use XBMC to play Ustream feeds, so if anyone knows a way - I am all ears! =)

Livestreams plugin already has NASA HD. Of course you could modify this for other ustream sites:

And of course the NASA plugin:

I know this topic is a little old, but I found it earlier today whilst trying to find a way to get UStream videos to play on my RaspBMC installation. I stumbled upon this:

https://github.com/divingmule/plugin.video.ustream

It's from the same developer as the "Livestreams" plugin, which I couldn't get to work for the life of me; but I installed this, and it seems to play (and find) most streams that I want. Though a word of advice: If you try this, be sure to change "Stream type" to "Choose" in the settings to save yourself a headache. It defaults to one specific stream type and instantly fails with it's default settings :D

Hope this helps!
