Is the Raspberry Pi able to run OpenITG? I believer the requirements are really low, and as I do not own one yet, I would like to know. If someone wants to try it out, the links can be found here. There are linux versions as well.

The limited amount of RAM would probably cause issues first.

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to post that I plan on personally trying this tonight or tomorrow.
If I can't figure out good settings to streamline it, I'll look at reprogramming parts of it in the future, possibly.

Reason is simple: I'm building a robot for comic conventions, and am installing a projector in it.
I plan on playing some games and software I've been working on, and invited to a convention about,
and would like to have OpenITG available on it, to plug in my pad and play when I'm here! XD

I'll post here as I find out what works and doesn't work.
If you want to see updates on the robot in general (run by RPi and PicAXE),

In response to earlier posts, the biggest catch is that it seems to be compiled for a PC board (Intel/AMD) rather than ARM (which is what the Pi uses, obviously.

I'm still relatively new to the *nix scene, but imma see if I can learn how to change it or emulate it.
If anyone has ideas, either a simple fix or working emulator, I'd love to hear it! :)

I've gotten StepMania 3.9 to compile and run, albeit very slowly. All Linux versions of StepMania do require OpenGL, even 3.9 (unless you use the null video render which makes the game REALLY hard). I'm going to work to get it using OpenGL ES. There is already a project for this, although I believe it is for StepMania 5. I'll (attempt to) contribute and backport it to 3.9.

Cheers!
