Order status "Please Contact DHL"

Hi all,
I received an email yesterday notifying me that my DHL package is on its way. When viewing the status of the package it tells me that I should contact DHL, which I then did. DHL had the following to say:
"Your supplier has only loaded the information on our website but did not hand over the actual shipment." "may you please contact your supplier to make a follow up."
I then contacted raspberrypi@rswww.com, but have not received a response yet.
Any suggestions on how I should proceed?

Wait 24 hours for RS to give the parcel to DHL and then check again.

I have the same problem. I received an email from DHL on the 14th with the status "Please contact DHL as of: June 12, 2012". I contacted them on the 15th and they advised that RS components would need to contact DHL UK to arrange the shipping. It is now the 17th. There are also no obvious lines of enquiry to pursue; no phone numbers or email addresses on the sites related to the Raspberry Pi.

Man this is frustrating. My tracking status is still "Please contact DHL as of: June 12, 2012 16:43". I still haven't received any emails, and I don't know what to do.
I had initially replied to my initial order confirmation (which was received from raspberrypi@rswww.com) on June 13, but I never received a response. Then I tried +RaspberryPi on Google+ (June 13), and didn't get a response. Then I tried contacting RS from their website (June 14). I got a response on the same day, by they referred me to the raspberrypi@rswww.com email address. I sent another mail to raspberrypi@rswww.com (June 14), and got an automated response (June 15), to which I replied as requested in the email (June 15). I haven't gotten a response since then...

I've had exactly the same issue with RS Components but with a parcel sent by Parcelforce. I received the email on June 11th.

The tracking number exists, but the parcel hasn't been sent, apparently.

Anyone from RS care to tell us what is going on? Apparently your call centre people have no infromation about the Raspberry Pi and you only have an email address.

I got the same problem.
I got a mail from RS Components with the tracking nr for my package.
And it says:

We are pleased to confirm that your shipment / parcel is being sent to
you with DHL Express on 12/06/2012.


But there is a problem..
When i type in the tracking number at DHL website, it says contact dhl.
And so i did. The woman that i talked to said that the package has not been picked up at RS Components.

So the package is still at RS Components. When will it be picked up by DHL and shipped to me??

After reading another thread on this forum I sent another email (17 June) to raspberrypi@rswww.com with "Mike@RS" as the subject. I just got an email with the following message:
"Apologies for the incorrect tracking information provided to you recently. We experienced an glitch in our system which generated a shipping number for you before the product had left our warehouse. We anticipate shipping this product to you on Tuesday evening and shall send you a new tracking number for you to trace your order.
Apologies for the inconvenienced this has caused."

I send a mail to, and got a answer today. 19/6/2012

Apologies for this. Your order should be shipped this week, and you will be advised a new tracking number when issued.

"Tuesday evening" has come and gone and I still haven't received a new tracking number...

Have you guys been sorted yet? My order is also stuck in "phone dhl" status (since the 12th of June). I've emailed the raspberrypi email but have had no responses at all. Is there anyone where else that I can contact. I just want to know what is happening to my order and if I am still getting one. It seems a whole bunch of users got two instead, so mine must have gone to the wrong person. But now I dont know if I am still going to get mine and rscomponents think they did deliver it and its completed.

If only I could get feedback :(

I'm in the same boat as others in this thread. Received the tracking number on June 12th, but it still says "Please contact DHL" and DHL tell me to contact the sender. I've sent an email to the RaspberryPi contact address but got no reply. Is anyone actively looking into these issues?

I still haven't received mine... I contacted VIC@RS two days ago and got the following reply 5 hours later:
"I am sorry you are experiencing issues with your order still. Our despatch department informed me that all issues would have been resolved by the weekend. I shall contact them asap to understand what the issue with your order is and get a resolution asap for you."

I am also need a new tracking number. the old still says "Contact DHL"
If you cant sort this thing out soon, then i want my money back.

Same problem here. Two weeks overtime now and still no package. Mike is replying
"I am waiting for more details on what’s happened to your Raspberry Pi, and will advise as soon as I hear anything."

Have waited two weeks now :) I was numer 224xx. Very frustrating.

Got a response this morning:
Apologies for the delay, we have been experiencing issues with our courier service but these have been solved now. Your order should be re-dispatched by Monday, at the latest. If you have not received a dispatch email by then please re-contact us.


Shame about the 3 lost weeks :(

I also got a reply yesterday (29 July):

"Please accept our sincerest apologies in shipping your Raspberry Pi order to you. We are resending your order to you, which will be despatched next Tuesday. Please accept our apologies for this delay, which was due to a data failure between systems."

I hope it's for real this time!

Still no new tracking number, despite being told this would be sent to me by Monday at the latest. Starting to wonder if this is ever going to materialise :(

My Raspberry Pi finally arrived on Friday (delivered to my work address while I was on leave of course and couldn't really use). I'm glad it finally arrived though :D
Rasbmc is downloading as I'm typing this :-)
