Eben and I are going to be demoing some alpha boards at Maker Faire at the New York Hall of Science on Saturday Sept 17. Come along and see us, have a fiddle with an alpha board - and let us know if you're a forum member who will be visiting, because we'd love to meet you!

If you have a twitter account and live in the NYC/Tri-state area follow @digikey as they have been giving away singles and pairs of tickets to Maker Faire over the last couple of weeks and they might do it again if you are lucky.

Also, if any of you are coming, it would be very helpful indeed (as I've just been reminded by a commenter on the blog) if you could bring a video or still camera - or your phone - and take some footage for us. I'm going to be manning the stand while Eben's busy presenting, and the rest of the time we both expect to be talking to visitors and demoing, so neither of us is going to have any time to do any filming. We'd really appreciate your help so we can show everybody here what we've been up to.

Well... y'all are making closer to me. You're in the states at least. Hopefully at some point you make it to Texas! :P

Whereabouts are you? We're occasionally in Austin for non-pi work, and I'm always up for a spot of company over barbecue!

200 miles from Austin to dallas. I just looked it up on google maps out of interest. Makes you appreciate how big this world is.

Oh yeah, it's a big place, I had to make that drive a couple weeks ago to see one of my friends get promoted to 2nd Lt. It's not a bad drive, but the hours to begin to wear a little thin after a while.
