Hello,
It"s the start of the new tax year and school departments are currently getting their new budgets.
The education version of the raspi will come out this financial year, somewhere between Sept and November I think. So we can plan our yearly spending, making allowances for buying the pis when they come out for bulk buying, is there any info on individual prices and bulk buy prices?
Thanks.

I contacted RS about bulk prices and they said no discounts available, not surprising really as the margins on the Pi are probably much lower than they would normally expect due to it being sold at a fixed [low] retail price.

As Darren said, bulk pricing is the same as individual pricing - there isn't enough margin to give bulk discounts.

However, you will save a lot in postage and packing - which can be quite a high proportion given the low price of the product in the first place.
