Même erreur que laurent.J'attends toujours depuis le jour de la sortie Sinon pour info, non la caméra n'enregistre pas le son.Il faut l'enregistrer à coté.

Why can we not find the gertboard? Element 14 shows it as NA and no one else even shows it. Can you get it in the US?

Let me stress that it is NOT something I did! I just like to way how an existing ATmega (Arduino) application has been ported to run from the Gertboard.

I think it would be easier to wire shields up with some sort of pin mapping PCB. With no direct-connect solution on the market, this board on Kickstarter would be the closest one could use to make a shield compatibility for Getboard a bit easier http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/818225433/breadboard-shield-adapter-for-microcontrollers-or (note this is not my project).

If I didn’t know better, I’d say it cannot be a coincidence that arduino is switching to the ARM platform with their Arduino Due design, which was released to developers today the 22nd.

The microcontroller on the gertboard is a very nice addition to the RPi, which can be used to generate / read high frequency signals and do other reactive / real time tasks. The higher level (not so time dependant) programming can then be done on the RPi which makes this a really good combo. Adding an ARM here would be useless, as it won’t be used for data-processing anyway.

As for arduino, ARM is just the next step. More and more hobbyists are using ARM for their microprocessing so adding the super-high-level arduino layer to ARM is something they are probably working on for a long time. RPi or not …

LOL, cute kid in the background! Honestly, I’d do 7×5 all caps letters on a board with larger LEDs , measuring 16×64 resolution, allowing up to 20 characters on the board at a time, plus some wiggle room for some shapes. Ideal overall measurements would 1cm per LED, for 16cm x 64cm. Put that in the back window of your car, and you can have MUCH fun with other drivers!
